Dust and Denarii is a roman chariot racing tournament with two distinct repeating phases, half the game loop is a deck builder style where you roll dice and use cards each turn to move around the arena and launch attacks, traps, or defenses, while the other half of the game is a betting and auction phase. You spend denarii on a betting sheet each race, things like choosing the winner with 4x payout or choosing last place for 3x payout, and then using any earned money during the auction phase to add new cards to your deck for the next race, with the goal of having the most race wins after 7 races.
